More about me…

I have over fifteen years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in Alberta, working in a variety of settings including clinical, community, and long-term care. For the past ten years I have run a successful private practice specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating, and am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor. In December 2025, I completed a Master of Counselling Therapy and expanded my practice to include counselling services alongside nutrition support.

I’m an INFJ (the rarest personality type) which reflects how I naturally connect with others. I meet people with deep empathy, curiosity, and respect, offering compassionate, individualized care that supports growth, understanding, and healing.

I’m passionate about helping people find peace with food, their bodies, and themselves, and I would be honored to support you or your family in that journey.

My practice is divided into two areas of focus:

  1. Eating Disorder Recovery & Intuitive Eating
I help people recover from active eating disorders and guide individuals who want to develop a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. My approach is weight-neutral, aligned with HAES® principles (more info on that here), emphasizing self-worth beyond weight. I work with clients to cultivate a positive body image, body respect, and a self-concept grounded in all aspects of who they are.

  2. Counselling & Mental Health Support
As a counsellor, I help families cope with eating disorders and support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I integrate evidence-based therapies to meet each client where they are, focusing on growth, resilience, and self-understanding.
